Project Type: Cultural

BushWang recently completed a privately owned ceramic studio and gallery project in South Boston for a prominent Boston family.

The project scope includes the ceramic studio, associated office and support spaces, the gallery and a kitchen with servery for gallery events.

The studio features exposed ceilings and utilities in keeping with the industrial historic origins of the building, wrap around wood and granite casework, custom fabricated stainless steel wash/work areas, a kiln firing area and custom designed lighting for each space.

The gallery design includes a fully illuminated, museum-quality ceiling, independently operable track lighting, an imported end grain wood floor and stainless steel detailing.
