BushWang has worked with Vertex Pharmaceuticals on a variety of projects, including the Fan Pier Building B in Boston (an 880,000 sf facility), the fit-up of the 125,000 square foot Phase II Building at the Fort Washington Research Complex and the fit-up of the Binney Street Facility in Kendall Square.

These projects include state of the art, highly flexible Biology and Chemistry Laboratories, along with associated support areas, research offices, open staff work areas, conference and interactive break-out spaces and the staff cafeteria.

BushWang and the consulting team worked closely with the Vertex facilities representatives on each project to understand their programmatic needs first, and to ultimately create spaces that unique to Vertex’s culture that are cost-effective, flexible and operationally efficient.
